We don't plan trips to Japan.
We craft memories.
Welcome to Japanescence, a boutique travel agency specializing exclusively in Japan.
We organize bespoke, curated journeys including itinerary planning, accommodation booking, dining reservations, experience curation, and flight coordination.
Curated
We personally vet each recommendation. Accommodations chosen for how they feel. Restaurants chosen because the chef tells a story with food. Experiences chosen because they reveal something true about Japan.
Tailored
We begin every journey with a conversation. We want to understand how you travel, what moves you, what kind of mornings you want to have. Your pace, your interests, your needs, woven in from the start.
Exclusive
Access to elusive experiences that take in-country expertise to access. A meal at a counter that seats six and has no website. A stay at a traditional inn that is not available online. These are the moments that define a Nuri journey.

A word from the founder
“Japan is best felt,
not sightseen”
Japan's greatest quality is invisible to the hurried visitor. It lives in the precision of a craftsman who has spent forty years perfecting a single discipline. In the silence of a ryokan corridor at dawn. In the way a chef presents a bowl of rice as if it were the most important thing in the world.
Nuri exists because I want to share that Japan. Not the postcard version. The one that stays with you.

It starts with a conversation by WhatsApp, a call, or in person in Dubai. We listen to what you are imagining, ask the questions that shape the design, then come back with an itinerary proposal within a few days. You review, we refine, and once everything is right we handle all bookings and arrangements on your behalf.

For cherry blossom season (late March to mid April) and autumn foliage (November), we recommend starting two to three months ahead. The ryokans and restaurants that define these journeys book out early. For other periods, few weeks to two months is generally sufficient, though more time always opens better options.

Yes. Whether halal, vegetarian, or any other dietary need, we integrate this into the journey design from the start. Japan's food culture is extraordinary and entirely navigable with the right knowledge. We know where to go and how to ensure every meal meets your requirements without compromise.

Japan visa requirements vary by nationality. We guide you through the process for your specific passport and ensure all documentation is in order well ahead of departure. For nationalities that require a visa, we advise on timing and handle the coordination alongside your itinerary.

Family travel is one of our most requested journey types. We pace itineraries around how families actually move, choose accommodations that work for children, and find experiences that hold the attention of every age in the group. Japan is an exceptional destination for families when it is designed with care.

Our fee covers itinerary design, all booking and reservation management, private guide coordination, and on-trip support throughout your stay. International flights are arranged separately. The per-person prices are for land content: accommodations, experiences, transfers, and guides within Japan.
